God's Princess - Me

Blog EntryJan 31, '09 12:13 PM
for everyone

It is already February... Time really flies. What have I been doing in the past one month? hhaa.

Many things have happened and more things will be happening along the way. (i pray that they will be good things!) Have been telling God my worries, concerns, anxiety, etc. I cant deny that I am tired and weighed down at times. Have you ever cry yourself to sleep at times? Somehow, God, if only we can be happy every single day, how good would that be? We go thru storms and trials in life, we laugh, we cry. I often asked God whether He had chosen the wrong person or maybe He look me 'up up' to place challenges in my life. Haa. I know God doest make mistakes and He is always with us. Thus, no matter what happened, always look at the positive side of all things. God, give me strength!!

In times when things dun really goes well, God always comfort me with the lyrics of a worship song -

Everyday i live i know You are my God, I lift my face and look to You my Lord. Even when the mountains tremble and a thousand fall, I will stand with You my Jesus, take my all.

Lord, even when there are mountains and storms in my life, I owe everyday I live to You!

for everyone

have been wanting to blog on my HK trip but was too lazy, looking thru the photos and resizing so many of them..it's really tiring. talking about HK, honestly, I dun really fancy HK, prob cos i cant speak Cantonese and find it very diff to communicate to them. yes, even though they can understand mandarin and english, somehow it just feel not so 'qin qie' if u dun speak cantonese..the last time i went HK was about....8years back ba.. this time round, it's different cos it's our company annual trip and there's only my dear burmese colleague, thet, myself and my 2 bosses. Plus, its a ALL-PAID trip. PTL. It's gonna be a long blog, so please bear with me...I' m goin to bring u thru this trip with me...heeez. ps: some photos are purely for laugh-talking about market value depreciating....dun care la~

Day 1: Waiting for bosses at T3 FIRST class check in. A totally different entrance to the normal check in counters. And I forgot to mention I met the worst taxi driver in my life on the way to airport! This is the Krisflyer Lounge check in lobby.

waiting and waiting. finally bosses arrived and even though me and thet were traveling on economy class, our luggages were checked in under 1st class...hah.then bosses bring us into the lounge..1st time. so suaku...everything is like wow wow wow!

and there was FOOD. we wanted to save our stomach for the food served in plane, thus only took sandwiches....Bossey said 'go order food, dun eat this.' order food? But....i wan to eat later in the plane..well, no choice....i took pasta, mushroom soup, fish, tea, sandwich, sushi....Hai..

after eating...took this before boarding plane..

that's all for changi airport...TADA.. touched down at HK airport and hotel staff came to pick us up...in a Stretch Limo...1st time ever...inside limo

and not forgetting to pose with the limo..super pai seh..cos ppl were looking at us..but it was a good experience! as my bosses are regular visitors in HK, they were greeted warmly by the hotel staff, feel very VIP...

so we checked into Island Shangri-la.

we were upgraded to a suite. level 51!

the 2 suakus began photo taking! hah. show u our room...

they provide hot chinese tea and fruits.

plsama tv with fax machine n copier in room.

comfy bed

the washroom is Huge...and they uses Loccitane bath essentials..

.then we went to bossey room...which is much bigger.

okay. time for dinner. went to pacific place and had japanese food.. i ordered fried udon with sliced beef...yummz!

after dinner went Victorian Park and SOGO for shopping. Can u believe that! I dint really buy a lot of stuff in HK cos Esprit wasnt having any Sale and G2000's sale is about the same as Sg..sigh...but their Sasa has quite cheap stuff. the number of Sasa outlets there are like the number of watsons we have...that summed up our Day 1...

Day 2 is Disney Land day! Yippie..

Woke up and while waiting for bossey, we took pictures again..

went down to have breakfast and here we go...buy train tix to Disney Land..

my disney land ticket

on the ever so lovely disney themed train..

WELCOME TO DISNEYLAND!

i love that mickey mouse behind, done up using flowers...

first ride. space mountain roller coaster. COOL.

then we went to shoot creatures. fun. toy story.

next up..its a SMALL SMALL WORLD

went to buy souvenirs and cookies, etc. then hungry...lunch time. but i dint see the mickey mouse shaped burger and nuggets at HK disneyland which i bought at tokyo DL, not sure whether they dun have it or...well, after the rides and walking for half a day, we cant tahan anymore and went to eat, and missed half of the parade..alamak..

then it 'snowed' while we were walking and looking for mascots.. strange, dint see a single one..i wonder where were they hiding..only saw beauty, snow white and...cant remember..

can u see the 'snow'? well i doubt so, pic too small.

the rides in HK DL are not as many compared to Tokyo, can finish the entire theme park within half a day....but the window displays are very lovely.

we had to return to hotel early as will need to meet clients for dinner. so thank God, before we leave, we caught them!

its 4am now. shall cont tmr...tired...

am back...continue...went back to hotel and changed for dinner with client. quite a serious dinner, so dint manage to take any pics...after dinner, bought tops from MNG at Pacific place and tat's it...

Day 3: bossey not having breakfast w us today, so thet & myself went to Cafe Too to have breakfast.. view from my seat..

basically it is buffet style, and since it's breakfast, i only took a bowl of pork porridge, sausages, bacon, egg and coffee...cant really eat too much for breakfast.

bill came...per head before tax is HKD250! so for both of us it is HKD550 after tax!! that is S$50! thank God its bosses who are paying...with S$50, i can eat 20 bowls of wanton mee..talking about wanton mee. i dint have a single dim sum meal in HK..only 1 bowl of authentic wanton mee...(pic later) but its a totally different experience though!

we went to the Peak after breakfast in a cab. took interesting pics of the cab..usually i ll be the one sitting in front with the driver, and their front seats are connected..and surprisingly, the taxi driver just leave their cash, coins, bag next to their seats, with no cover, no drawer, if i were to snatch it, i could have done it very easily...they dun seemed to be scared...

i also discover something funny...HK cabs can take bird and pets on board..with additional charge. every animal or bird is HKD5. hee...

pics of HK, what we always see in the tv....

roads are often steep...very tiring to walk up....especially if you are in heels...

at the Peak. nice and cool weather...

after the peak, we saw the wax museum....so i took pics with the following!

jacky chan

Bruce Lee

and cecilia chung

and they have very cute christmas deco..

then boss brought us to a Nepali restaurant for lunch...

had roast lamb and their very spicy spicy chicken....hot man. but was nice.

after lunch, as my boss loves antique very much, we went antique shopping..unique arh..and boss also intro many of his frends to us...he really is a frequent customer ar..then he said we have to pose with this authentic Tibetan door..which is the actual door of his frend's antique shop. nice ar.

went back to hotel to pack up and leave for Macau....reached the ferry terminal and this is the entrance...

we took the Corai Strip, which is the Venetian (hotel which we are staying)'s own cruise ship....amazing. never did i know that the owner is super duper rich till i see the hotel....and we were seated in the 1st class of the ferry. never heard of 1st class in ferry...and they actually serve food. oh my gosh. food again..

nice ferry. the food they serve..not bad lah..

the venetian is really huge. u can literally shop inside the hotel and cant finish walking the entire hotel in a day. they have all the huge labels in the hotel, the shopping centre is in the hotel, etc. once again, i experience VIP treatment...we reached the hotel and went into a special room for check in for VIPs only...again there was FOOD...just had in the ferry, boss said, help yourself...so i went to help myself..

Venetian is really huge and let me 'da kai yan jian'... how big is it. let me show you my room number..

5 digits!!!! so that means there are humdreds of room in just 1 level!!! jaw dropped. as usual, we got a suite. it was huge. but boss said this is not the biggest. there was once they stayed in one that was so enormous that it took 5 mins for my boss to tour the entire suite with her video cam. not kidding. so i must show u my room.

.this is the bathroom

the dressing table in the bathroom, the door on its right leads to a separate cubicle with toilet bowl... then there is the bath tub and shower room behind the dressing table.

cool ar. i dun mind sleeping in the bathroom. clean and huge. then moving on to the beds...*mouth open big big* the bed u see below is meant for 1 person.

then our beds...so much bigger than island shang's...we have 6 pillows each and 1 bolster..dunno why need so many pillows...

the living room

there is also fax machine in the room

then we went to shop around. this is their long stretch of lobby. look at the wall paintings...beautiful.

fake sky but nice. then we saw these ppl...

bosses wanted us to watch the caberet show but there wasnt any that nite. so we went to eat dinner and shop....by the way, macau is famous for their casinos...and can u believe it, their casinos are in their lobby....u have to walk pass it to get to your rooms and we saw ladies offering their 'service' while walking thru the casinos and interesting scenes of security guards chasing these 'ladies' around cos they werent allow to pull for business inside the casino..interesing scene cos it just happened every 10 secs, u'll see girls running. honestly, many of them are very pretty and young. maybe 18++....sigh..

while waiting for bosses before dinner, we got bored. and i started my stupid candid photos...THE EATING OF GONDOLO BOAT...

Pic 1: this is our gondolo boat ride...nice

PIC 2: moving nearer

PIC 3: Preparing

PIC 4: Here we go...

that was my appetiser before we proceed for dinner at the chinese restaurant.

werent very hungry but we had crabs, fish, noodles, vege...

after the heavy dinner, we definitely need to walk....Gucci, LV, Fendi, etc...all the shops close at 11pm on weekdays and midnite on weekends. how cool is that.....after the walking, finally have to settle for coffee at starbucks..

that summed up our Day 4. and last day in macau/HK...

Woke up and still, took pics while waiting for bosses. maybe we were so tired, so we took candid shots...these are still normal..

till...heavy...

from gloomy..(we dint tell each other wad face to come up with..this is telepathy)

to Madness..

ok. that's it...so we are going to Macau town.....

i have my 1st and only bowl of wanton noodles here..

nice....then we went to the famous cathedral where ppl were taking photos frantically.

and can u believe it..we went to the museum...hahah...must pay one leh, and i heard its not cheap..

then back to town.. saw this nice layout of Baby Jesus in the manger..

lunch is at this very famous Portugese restaurant which seemed to be very popular cos u can see that ppl were already queueing up even before it is open...

we had crabs again..shiok ar.. i gained 4kg from this HK trip. food and eat and food and eat and food....

before leaving macau, last pic at the beach!
that's it.. took ferry back and eat again on ferry and on plane again. all in all. it was a great experience and thank God for everything!

if u are a 星光 fan, you will notice this sweet and vocal-power gal, 黎礎寧 ;a.k.a li chu ning. and incase you dunno, she committed suicide on 12 Nov, she is only 24. was shocked by the news cos i really like her, i think she really can sing and during the competition, there were so many times she hit full score. but no one would have imagine that she'd chosen to give up because of relationship problem. u r so silly. another potential gone. was reading through her blog and there were simply too many opportunites for her in the entertainment world but....i m just sad. though i dunno u personally, rip.

have read this book from Dr Cho and all i could say is its awesome! If u can, do buy a copy and i'm sure u ll be very blessed. =) it's a very easy book to read and understand and all the testimonies that are inside the book are POWERFUL!!!

and today, am blessed by the Word Ps preached in service.the fourth dimension, Dream, Believe, Visualise, Speak. am amazed by the crystal theory or rather how beautiful crystals can be formed when we speak positive words to the water....it is really eye opening! towards the end of the msg, we were asked to write down what we can believe for in 5 areas, Health, Family, Career, Ministry, Finances.

Honestly, i m very very discouraged in a few areas. sometimes when we get so discouraged, we just feel like giving it all up. maybe it was a wrong choice, maybe i dint hear clearly from God, maybe it was just my wishful thinking, maybe maybe maybe....especially when we look around and everything seemed to be in a mess. what can we do? cry and drown yourself in self pity? i guess only God understands. and only God can heal the pain. We gotta keep on speaking to our circumstances even though they seemed tough, we got to believe that things will change for the better, we got to visualise that they will happen just as what we've dreamed and we got to speak and confess them out!

sure it takes time, sure its not easy but we've got to hang on. God is good and He will never fail us.

"Speaking to these mountains. To move into the oceans..."

Definition of Changes:
  1. The replacing of one thing for another; substitution: a change of atmosphere; a change of ownership.
  2. A transformation or transition from one state, condition, or phase to another: the change of seasons.
  3. Something different; variety

I personally dun like changes. because they disrupt my plans and life. recently a lot of things are happening in my life and though they are positive, i dunno why but i m not happy at all. All i can say is things came too sudden and i m still in the process of accepting the reality. Pastor always say, the only thing in life which is constant is 'CHANGE(s)'. when things happened, i began to understand myself better that i m not who i thought i was. ironic huh.

Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

Ok, its been barely a week since i got my beloved HTC diamond and sad to announce that i have already dropped it 3 TIMES!!!! arrrgghhh. Sunday was the worst fall. on concrete floor, stylus, battery, cover all flew towards different directions...i almost fainted. the first 2 times were in office, at least its carpeted flooring...sigh. and the worst thing is, it cracked a little. sob sob...i wanna get the cover but still couldnt find any place that sell it... what happened? i thought it would be easy to find? so calling all the kind souls out there, if you happen to see the diamond casing, pls let me know.. i know there is this extended batt with a thicker casing though...arrgghh...xim very tiah....

but i still love my phone...Thank God the phone still function as before. No lag, and i really like it...just went to have the screen protected by martin field screen protector. paid $24... still cant see the goodness of it even though people were singing praises of it...was actually contemplating whether to get the invisible shield or MF but the shop i went to only has MF....so ok la...try out first.. still feel like getting something to protect its body. dun wan to get silicon cos it ll cover the beauty of my diamond...any suggestions???

still has a lot more to discover about the phone cos till now, i m only using its basic features...i m sure there are still lots of wow wow functions for me to discover..oh did i forget to mention that diamond has this very fun game called teeter where u simply control the entire phone to roll the ball thru many obstacles into the green hole... no need to press any buttons, just tilt ur phone to move the ball...very fun..dunno whether the other HTC phones have this game...will get addicted to it..and also train patience...

maybe should get another spare batt....singtel diamond comes with extra batt and LV Epi leather look-a-like pouch...my colleague has it...so nice...i usually charge my phone every nite just to be sure... till then. let me update again...

YES. I GOT IT!!!! I almost teared! Dont ask me why I dint, prob I was too tired and the tears rolled back when I got it...I said it to my beloved CG members already and now I want to take this chance to say THANK YOU again for your sacrifice, your long msn discussions which I heard it took about 5 hours, your 'well planned' sabo for me, and not forgetting to actually planned to not wish me at all. Honestly, I was upset cos I dint get a single bdae greeting from any of the members...To think that you all can be so cruel...haha.

Anyway, I had a long day at work yesterday! Imagine having to work on your birthday, it really dampens 80% of my mood....BUT I have lovely colleagues who surprised me with:

CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE CAKE FROM POLAR...I knew it...hee...

And also the gift... I really appreciate it.. G2000 vouchers..which means i can buy more nice clothings!! YEAH!. Notice what they wrote on the envelope....Yes, i am known as the siao char bo in the ofc...and i m okay to disclose my age too...

And thank you boss for the cake..and gift...Thanks.

So work ended at almost 7.30pm and I had to rush down for CG at Tanah Merah.. Not a single person wished me...Alamak.. What happened? 10pm sharp, we were being chased out of the function room, no choice, have to find elsewhere to meet cos Ryan is on his way. So in the end, we ended up at Bedok Mac....Told a few jokes but no one laughed..boys were getting restless...everyone were tired, including me....so i rushed them to chop chop and i could send them home in cab in orfer to avoid midnite charges...ULTIMATE DISAPPOINTED. but then i sensed a lot of them on the phone. must be coordinating something. Lo and behold, Jean appeared behind with a super big cake...

and as usual, sabo time...thanks for the 'well-planned' sabo. mentos sweet hidden under whipped cream...i m supposed to use only my mouth to dig out the mentos...clever me blow the whipped cream..Yeah.. managed to get it and this is my gift...thanks.

part 2, 2 mentos with a PILE of whipped cream...impossible. i was tired and had to do this...in the end (no need to elaborate), i got my 2nd and 3rd gift..

DORAEMON sweets

Rubber balls. there were actually 3 of them. i think my CG members are very sweet, to get the balls for....(i shall not elaborate here) . hmmm..in the end, my doggie found the balls and destroyed 2 of them...i m sorry.

then the LOVELY CARD and touching msgs...my love lang is words of affirmation...and i really appreciate it..nice card sia....

and..they told me they specially got the cake shop auntie to hide the present in a glass box and in the cake itself, so i need to cut the entire cake...i mean.. how can it be possible? in the end, they pass a shoebox to me...and ta da...AARRGGHHH..

paisei i dint cry...nor scream...hee. but from the bottom of my heart, i m really OMG....actually i thought if i really got a HTC, it will be HTC Dual. but God really did above and beyond what i thought. and i m surprised to hear that they were actually deciding between PRO and DIAMOND...so sweet! dint bring my Diamond to work cos i slept at 3am and need to wake up at 7. cannot do a full charge...plus i think i ll get irritated cos i m still new to the phone...so i m still charging it and cant wait to use it... Thanks to Ying and Liwei too for your contribution. Thanks to all my members for your sacrifice and effort!!!!

Last but not least, thanks to all who smsed/call me: Pastor, Lillian n Bro Nic, Francis, Teresa, James, Helen, Janelle, Hazel, Shiyun, Lester, Victor, Shaun, Ziwei, Gab & Meini, Valerie, Liwei, Lisa, Kristie, Ying, WanYun, Guo Hong, Haoyi, Yuanjun, Eugene, Emilia, 2 aunties, my daddy, Wei Hao, Fiza, Amanda darling & Catherine.. Sorry if i missed anyone...Thanks for making my birthday a very memorable one. Thank you Jesus!

This is my 4th time...dint know i actually can just sign up for blood donation without 2nd thought... cos afterall, generally we see it as something that's painful..may faint, etc. well, I thank God i dint feel weak after the drive, but no doubt, i m scared of the stapling of the finger...thats the part which i cant stand! and today's prob the worst cos i actually had a little blue black on my middle finger...that is strange.but other than that, PTL, my blood presssure, etc are in the healthy range

well, other than that and a little pricking of the vein, and not mentioning the waiting time...we went in at about 2 and came out at 5 plus. thanks to accompaniment of my members, else i dunno how i can tahan the waiting hr....the whole donation took at most 10 mins...all the waiting time. ...forgot to take pictures.. these are pics of my 3rd donation.

then while waiting for daniel, i asked brid :'would u actually make the effort to donate ur blood outside if church doesnt organise such drive?' 'hmmm....no leh'. me too! ooppss.. thats why i m grateful for the effort church took to organise donation drive, its where i 1st have the courage to go for what a 'i-would-never-ever-try' activity to now, i think i can say...i like giving blood...for a good cause =) so for those of you who never ever want to try....its not that bad...thinking of the blood Jesus shed on calvary...what is 1 pkt of blood compared to His?

Try it...=)

Decided to have an outreach this week and I dun deny like I actually prefer my members to run around (while they can) for a CG outreach rather than going to restaurants to eat...I like eating, dun get me wrong. its just that I prefer to have active activities like amazing race, photo hunts, etc...i think my members dun really agree with me...but no choice. hah.

So i went alone to Vivo on thurs in my working attire to recce. I seriously dislike Vivo cos its huge and its spacious, which means I have to walk a lot.....poor feet. nonetheless, got everything settled, taken all the photos, but surprisingly, i dint manage to buy anything leh. its always like this...whenever i feel like shopping, i often dun get to see anything i fancy..but when the urge isnt there, oh no.. the damage is quite bad.

ok, back to this afternoon. we had a good time, other than all the late comers! sigh...it was a good afternoon. PTL, i was still worried that no frends will turn up. but God is good. 4 friends came! And also the members, all came! We had fun...Prize was $50 Vivo city vouchers....

After that, we went to Haagen Dazz for ice-cream...EXPENSIVE ice-cream...We ordered Brownie Explosion (i think)....its quite pathetic la, the serving...

Jean pouring the chocolate syrup..

And another, FLOWER BLOSSOM..which I think its not that bad....6 mini scoops...we ordered tiramisu, belgium chocolate, rum n choco, raspberry sorbet, mango sorbet? n cookies and cream...

Now, this is after....quite gross-looking though..

not forgetting the lovely ppl...the beautiful ladies...YY an Nicole

Nicole, Yizhuang & Pammie

The thorn among the rose...Ryan with Jean, Fenny & Jenny...just in case u r wondering where are the brothers...ice cream cant satisfy their hunger...so they headed to BK.

Lastly...fenny, myself and Pammie..

After tea time, we headed down to Expo.. Thanks to Jean who drove us there....THANK YOU...some went to serve and I gave BS and attended svc. Svc was great...

Faith for success in life..Faith is our connection with God. Build up faith muscles. Confess and believe positive words that will frame our world.. Once again, my faith tank got topped up. Tmr Pastor will share point 2 n 3. Am looking forward to service tomorrow. God is good. =)

Congratulations to Jenny on her graduation. Its been a great 5 months for her and I m really proud of her...Last year I had my share of joy and this time its my turn to prepare gifts, etc for a bible school graduate. On thurs, thank God for Jean who fetch me to IKEA to get the barang for Jenny' gift, actually not a lot of things, we only bought.....A FRAME... haha. partly cos was too tired walking in my heels after a long stressed day at walk and also simply cos the IKEA is too big.. I still prefer the Alexandra one.. Jean... I know you will disagree with me..

Nonetheless, we met on the saturday rainy afternoon, thanks to the lovely sisters who came down to help, I really appreciate it..(notice, the brothers are nowhere to be found). so here's what we did...strategise how to stall time at swensens to finish up the frame in about 2 hrs.. we look funny la. taking the frame and posing...ahyo..

here's jean...

then me and nicole..i realise my eyes become very the small whenever i smile...sigh.

not forgetting another 2 heroines.. bridget and yizhuang!

the ladies

we ended about eight plus and realised need to buy balloons...oh no.. went around checking out what gift to get. the shops are closing...managed to get a combination of mix n match scent from body shop...and balloon.. praise the Lord.. but thats not the end. wasnt feeling well but still have to rush 2 bouquets before i sleep. usually i ll take photos of the bouquets but think was too giddy and forgot about it...only a poor shot..

FInally. the day arrived...very rushed sunday... had a lot of things to take care of and my cg left without me in the group photo!!! was quite upset cos i told them to wait.. but guessed cant be help cos the ushers have to clear the hall for the movie screening. i rushed like a mad woman to catch jenny before she returned her gown and thank God.. i caught her...

am still waiting for nicole to send me the group photos to post up... well. at least it was a good day. thanks to Jean especially for driving us down to liyan's wedding and taking care of the cg while i m not around la... What a sunday!

I missed the previous round of morning prayer sessions at JW a few weeks back, cos would not be in time for work but this time round, i m really excited cos Pastor has opened up a few more locations for us to pray!

And, it is super early. 7am. I can usually nua till 8.15 when I officially start work at 9, so if prayer session is at 7, this means i must wake up at 5.50!!!! And not just 1 but 2 weeks....Well, put aside all excuses, I cant see why i couldnt make it for the sessions unless i m real LAZY! thus, i told God that i really want to grow in my prayer walk with God, no longer at night when i come home feeling oh so tired but rather to start my day right, simply by PRAYing.

The first few days were really a struggle. I was off on Mon and guessed what, after i finished the session and gave my member 2 lessons of Getting Started, I went back and knocked out till......guess what...6pm! GOODNESS! HAHA. i think i still have to take some time to get used to it. But gradually, as momentum is being built up, it is really by God's strength that I can wake up on time every morning, excited to meet with God. Despite zone meet ended late last nite, usually i would try to sleep by 11 so that i can have at least 6hrs of sleep. tue nite only managed to sleep at 1.30am, but still I dint really feel so tired..it is really the strength from God!

Not only did we have a powerful session, Pastors are really very thoughtful to make sure we can get our stomach full before going off...And, CHC really has the Spirit of Excellence. The menu changes every day sia...this morning we had mini lo mai gai, mini sausage bun, mini ham bun and drink...power right. so if u are aiming for the starbucks voucher, u may like to consider the sumptous breakfast too. Maybe this will motivate u even more. BUT NONE CAN BEAT THE PRESENCE OF GOD~ so, stop finding excuses, just come down and join us! You will get addicted...to the presence of God. And i m sure that when u put God first in ur life, God will not shortchange you but will in turn increase your efficiency! Start your day right with God!

very happy today....finally the 2 'brothers' had decided to take the plunge. i m very proud of them. and of course very happy too cos when i see the CG doing something together, i felt touched...here's the photos.. Happy BATH-day, Tim & Dan!

Nervous...preparing..timo with his usual 'wooohhh' when he stepped into the cold water.

calm n steady

and of course, not letting them go...we prepared these...2 cute cakes, 2 BIG apples and cards..nice hor.. but stay tuned...

the above pic is before...and check this out...STEP 1 - BLINDFOLD (wrong demo...may cause suffocation)

STEP 2 - SPECIAL APPLE (Dan asked for a white apple, and our CG was kind enough to acceed to his request. Bible says 'ask n u shall be given', so we coated the apple with SALT. not very white too, but it was more than enough....and our apple has 'eyes' on it too.; it symbolises the baptism candidates are the apple of God's eye....and Timo took a real big bite..aiyo.. and not forgetting dan too.

CLAPS TO THEM - very brave. finished the apple....

OKAY, and finally. a group photo wit the proud water bap-ed candidates!

its been almost half a year since i last blogged. partly due to laziness but i think the main reason is many times i just feel like posting all my feelings, rantings, complainings but was held back due to many complicating reasons..hah. so after thinking it thru, my final conclusion 'might as well dun blog'.

time really flies man....its JULY already! and I am excited cos Aug marks the 1-yr anniversary of N404! I thank God for His grace that I can serve Him. there were times when i would feel so discouraged and wanted to wave my white flag but He would always make me stand again when i fall. Am still believing that God is going to bring my vision to pass. After what Pst have preached today, once again, I wrote down my desire on the flap of the offering envelope. God works thru man, not methods. I am really blown away by the life testimony of Dr Alex Abraham. His life is really full of trials but everytime, he prevails. Looking at what Dr Alex have been through really make me think that I am only maybe facing 0.1% of the diificulties, struggles, challenges, etc he had faced. And the worship song really touches my heart. It was another song where i cried like a baby when we sang it.

Everyday I live
I know You are my God
I lift my face and look to you my God
Even when the mountains tremble
And a thousand fall
I will stand with You
My Jesus
Take my all

Indeed when mountains tremble and things happened, i will not be sad. cos I know He is in control. Jesus take my all.

Finally decided to blog my Japan trip after so long..Quite lazy though...Anyway, I really enjoyed myself throughout this entire trip, minus all the walking and walking and walking....No wonder Japanese women are sooooooo slim...Their train stations are mostly staircases..walk and walk and walk, not forgetting Disneyland. It's super HUGE and after a day at DisneyLand & DisneySea, I almost collapsed...My body also ached for days..Haha. Lao le..

We touched down at about 5pm and the sky is already very dark, almost like 8pm in Spore. The temperature was 8degrees..goodness....Van was already there and Japanese are really very polite people, i mean VERY. I remembered accidentally knocking into 1 Jap guy and instead of me apologising to him straight, he turned ard and 'gomen nasai, gomen nasai' and kept nodding. I mean, its hard to find it in Spore, in Spore, u'll hear 'Zik' and then a stare. Haha. No offence.

We reached the hotel and to my surprise, it is really super small. We dont even have enough space to put our luggage, and kept knocking into the bed and table..The toilet is small too BUT I like the toiletbowl..haha.. it's so cool and fun.maybe I suaku la, but some also has warmer seat, so cool right...

After settling down, boss brought us to this ichiban Jap restaurant where we had authentic, FRESH sashimi. I m really thankful cos I dun have to pay for my meals at all and can get to enjoy Real Jap cuisine...i guess they are not cheap too. I took a peep at the menu and 1 chawanmushi cost 500yen, which is about S$6.50....Its really OISHII!!!

After dinner, we returned to hotel and rest before heading to Disneyland & DisneySea the following day.

Day 2: Disneyland & DisneySea

Finally! Everyone's dreamland!! I am proud to say that 'I HAVE BEEN HERE!' Ticket costs about $50+...

I told my colleague, if I'm living in Japan, I want to work at Disneyland as one of the parade performer...hee. so nice. they are always smiling and dancing beautifully..Meal time. Check these out!

Bought quite a lot of things at Disneyland, and the rides were not bad...Not as exciting as those at Dreamworld, but catered for children la...And we had dinner at one of the restaurants in Disneyland. Guess what's tat orange and white long thing? I thought its otah..hah, no la, they are carrot flavoured breadsticks for soup..Cute ar.

DisneySea

Merry Go Round....Wow...I turned into a child once more...Hopped onto a horse..hee.nice.

3rd day: Shopping

Went to Asakusa famous temple.

Then lunch at nearby restaurant. Korean grill. Yummy..

After lunch, saw a convenience store and wanted to go in but censor dun seemed to be working....so paiseh...later then discovered had to touch the door then sensor will be activated...aiyo..at night went Odaiba for shopping before having another sumptous Jap meal..woo.

4th day: Mt Fuji

Was excited cos finally can see snow. But we went a long way up till 5th station then to realise that it will be closed till April. Was very disappointed but well, for safety reason...But Mt Fuji is really NICE!

Aftertat, we went to Gotemba premium outlets for further shopping. Can really get branded stuff at cheaper price cos they are all factory outlets. Bought a pair of MUJI boots for only $32..Cheap steal.

Final night at Japan, we had shabu shabu..

Not fogetting another sumptous meal at a Portugese Restaurant before leaving for the airport. I dint put on weight cos I walked a lot also thruout this trip! All in all, I will come back again when I am rich..hah.
